Twisted Choppers Hookah 2 Into 1 Exhaust Header For 1984-2017 Harley-Davidson Softail Dyna Touring

Two pipes in, one statement out. The Hookah pulls both cylinders into a single collector with the kind of clean, no-nonsense profile that forward control Big Twin builds were made for โ€” a deep, focused exhaust note that announces your presence well before you arrive.

Key Features
  • 2-into-1 Hookah-style exhaust header purpose-built for Harley-Davidson Big Twin platforms
  • Designed for use with forward controls โ€” will not clear mid-mounted foot controls
  • Compatible with Evolution and Twin Cam engines, including custom motorcycle builds on those platforms
  • Three finish options: Uncoated, Black, and Chrome
  • Available with or without baffles โ€” baffles are non-removable once installed
  • 18mm oxygen sensor bungs on all applicable EFI year models
  • 18mm to 12mm O2 sensor adapter bushings are included on applicable later-year models
  • Includes lower mount with all necessary mounting hardware
  • Made in the USA
Technical Specifications

Fitment Notes
  • Forward Controls Only: This header will not clear mid-mounted foot controls. It is designed exclusively for forward control configurations.
  • Dyna Dipstick: This header covers the oil dipstick on all Dyna models. The dipstick cannot be accessed with the pipes installed. Plan accordingly for oil level checks and changes.
  • 2012โ€“2017 Dyna: This header is not offered for 2012โ€“2017 Dyna FXD models due to dipstick access constraints.
  • Early EFI Models With O2 Sensors: If you own a 1996โ€“2006 EFI Touring FLH/FLT, a 2001โ€“2006 EFI Softail FXS/FLS, or a 2004โ€“2005 EFI Dyna FXD, your bike has O2 sensors, but the 1984โ€“2006 Softail / 1999โ€“2005 Dyna / 1999โ€“2006 Touring variant does not include O2 sensor bungs. Select the 2007โ€“2011 Softail / 2006โ€“2011 Dyna / 2007โ€“2009 Touring variant instead โ€” the fitment is identical and that variant includes the 18mm O2 sensor bungs your bike requires.
  • Will not fit 2017+ Milwaukee-Eight (M8) engines
  • 2009 and later Touring FLH/FLT models require an O2 sensor wire extension harness โ€” not included
  • Flanges and gaskets are not included โ€” reuse your existing flanges or purchase an exhaust flange kit with new gaskets and hardware separately
  • May not clear all aftermarket air cleaner configurations โ€” verify clearance before ordering
  • Baffles are not removable once installed
  • Black finish adds approximately 1 week to processing time; Chrome finish adds approximately 5 weeks
  • Compatible with custom motorcycles equipped with an Evolution or Twin Cam engine
  • Review the Fitment tab for a complete year-by-year and model-by-model breakdown

  1. Corkey Fowler

Purchased this for my 2017 Slim S last year. Not a single regret buying from Twisted Choppers. The bike is louder than any of my buddys bikes. I had the Vance and Hines big radius beforehand and still used the same MAP with this exhaust. She spits a little flame out on hard throttle. On installation, a little bit of a struggle on getting the bolts to align. The heat wrap will certainly smoke during the initial curing process. IMO, buy the wrap for added comfort on the leg. You won’t regret the exhaust!

So I have a 2004 dyna wide glide trike, so what would I have to do as far as being able to check the oil with a pipe such as this installed? Evan vogl asked on September 22, 2024

If the oil filler location is between the engine and trans, the exhaust will cover it. The only way to access it with the exhaust installed is to detach from the lower exhaust mount and loosen the nuts at the heads. Then you can swing it out to gain access to the filler tube.

I have a 2000 Big Dog with an FXR rubber mount style setup and an S&S 107 with floorboards and forward controls. Will these work for me? Michael Morris asked on August 10, 2024

This should fit but it may depend on the location of the floorboards. They do work with factory HD floorboards.
