- SH93 Alternator/Generator variation (31-9917) fits Harley-Davidson 1970-Up Big Twin custom chassis using the 1970-Up primary-case bolt pattern; sprocket-shaft length suits either alternator or generator-style primary.
- Neither variation fits 1966-1969 generator-era Shovelhead chassis; the separate S&S P93 product covers that earlier chassis range.
