Dakota Digital SIM-1A Electronic Speedometer Adjustment Module
The Dakota Digital SIM-1A plugs directly between the transmission speed sensor and the factory speedometer or ECM to correct speedometer and odometer readings after a change in tire size, pulley ratio, or transmission gearing – a plug-and-play solution for most Harley-Davidson models that eliminates cutting or splicing.

- Direct plug-in (no splicing) for 1995-2003 Sportster, 1996-2006 Softail, 1996-2005 Dyna, and 2006 and earlier Touring models with factory electronic speedometer
- Later models (2004-up Sportster, 2006-up Dyna, 2007-up Softail and Touring) require hardwiring into the stock harness
- On later models, correction is limited to Harley’s factory margin of error (typically 3-5%) – correcting beyond this may cause loss of 6th gear indicator and cruise control
