Twisted Choppers Aluminum Rear Sprocket and Pulley Spacers for 1984-1999 Harley-Davidson

Ensure perfect drivetrain alignment on your classic Harley-Davidson with these American-made billet aluminum spacers. When performing wide tire conversions or installing custom wheels, maintaining a straight chain or belt path is essential for performance and safety. These spacers provide a professional solution for spacing the rear sprocket or pulley away from the hub to clear wider tires and custom frames.

Each spacer features a precision-machined self-centering design that properly locates the spacer to the wheel hub and the pulley or sprocket to the spacer. This dual-registration system eliminates the risk of vibration and bolt shearing by ensuring all components remain perfectly concentric. The raw aluminum finish provides a high-quality, machined look that can be polished or left as-is for a clean, mechanical appearance.

  • 2000-Up Models: Will NOT fit 2000-present models equipped with sealed ball bearings (2.22 Inch hub pilot).
  • 1999 Dyna Owners: Verify your hub style, as some late-year models transitioned to the newer 2.22 Inch sealed bearing hub.
  • Hardware: Grade 8 bolts are required (sold separately). Ensure proper thread engagement is maintained after adding spacer thickness.

Q & A

Ask a question
Is the part that the sprocket slides onto 2 inches (1.978″ OD) and not 2-1/4"? It says "Step that sprocket/pulley fits over: 1.978″ OD ". toby shaffer asked on May 28, 2024

That is correct, the 84-99 years have the smaller 1.9" center bushing and 2000-Up have the 2.2" center bushing. This is the part that centers/aligns the sprocket or pulley.
