Exhaust Port Torque Cones For Harley Davidson

Here’s why to use torque cones. Exiting exhaust gasses are sometimes pulled back into the engine by the descending piston before exhaust the valve closes. Exhaust gases in the cylinder contaminate the mixture of fuel and clean air and significantly reduce engine performance. Torque cones are used to prevent this from happening. Torque cones will speed up the exiting exhaust gasses to create a venturi effect which stops them from being sucked back into the engine.

Cones were well made, but did not use them. After reading a lot about them they are not worth messing with.
