Chopper 2.2 Gallon Gas Tank

The gas tank has two 1/4″ NPT petcock outlets and a fuel capacity of 2.2 gallons. Gas tanks are shipped raw and may have oxidation, which must be sanded off and then coated with primer before painting. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. Check the petcock opening to ensure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting to facilitate easy installation of the petcock.
