The following return and refund policy applies to all items sold on twistedchoppers.com.
Order Cancellation
This policy applies specifically to orders that have not yet been shipped. Once an order has shipped, it falls under our Return Policy.
Key Guidelines:
- Cancellation Within 10 Minutes of Purchase: You may cancel your order at no cost and receive a full refund.
- Cancellation After 10 Minutes: If your order has not shipped, a non-refundable 3.5% transaction fee will be deducted from your refund. This fee is charged by payment processors (Braintree/PayPal) and is not returned to us.
- Non-Cancellable Orders: Orders cannot be cancelled if they’ve already entered processing (e.g., custom fabrication has begun or coatings such as chrome or ceramic have been applied).

Return Conditions
Eligibility
You may return new/unused items within 30 days of the delivery date for an exchange or refund.
Fitment & Builder Responsibility
Fitment of custom components is the responsibility of the builder. Please verify all clearances (tire width, frame width, and chain path) before ordering. Twisted Choppers is not responsible for fitment issues arising from non-standard tire sizes or rim widths. Claims that a part “does not fit” despite matching our listed dimensions will be treated as a standard return.
Conditions for Free Returns
We provide a free return label only if your item: arrived damaged, has missing parts, or does not match what was ordered.
Non-Returnable Items
Returns are not accepted for: Electronics, fuel tuners, fenders with struts welded on, springer front ends, wheels, or any custom-made/special order items.
Packaging Requirements
Returns must be 100% free of defects such as scuffs, scratches, or signs of installation.
Original Packaging
Items must be returned in their original manufacturer’s packaging, securely packed to prevent movement and damage to finishes like paint, powder coating, or chrome. Improperly packaged items that arrive damaged will be rejected.
Raw Steel Items
Raw steel items must be free of fingerprints, grease, and surface oxidation (rust). Items requiring re-prep due to poor handling will be subject to a higher restocking fee or rejection.
For high-value items, consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance to cover you in case of loss or damage during transit.
Return Process
- Email info@twistedchoppers.com for a return authorization. Have your order number ready. For fitment or defect claims, you must include photos showing the part being measured to verify the discrepancy.
- Include a copy of your order in the package.

- When we receive your return, you will be notified of the approval or rejection.
Refunds & Fees
Deductions
- 3.5% Admin Fee: Non-refundable transaction fee from payment processors.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping is non-refundable. For “Free Shipping” orders, the actual outbound shipping cost incurred will be deducted from the refund.
- Restocking Fee: A fee of up to 20% applies to cover inspection and re-packaging.
Fee-Free Alternative:
The 3.5% and restocking fees are waived if you choose Store Credit or a Direct Exchange for another product. (Customer remains responsible for all shipping costs).
Timeline
Refunds typically take 5-7 business days to process once approved.
Warranty
Coverage
We warrant branded products to be free from defects for 90 days from purchase. This does not cover misuse, improper installation, or finishes compromised by improperly tuned engines.
We do not warrant third-party products; please contact those manufacturers directly. Initiate claims by emailing info@twistedchoppers.com.
Disclaimer for Package Delivery
Upon shipment, once a package is documented as “Delivered” by the carrier (via GPS, Photo, or Signature), Twisted Choppers is not liable for theft or loss occurring post-delivery.
It is the customer’s responsibility to secure packages once delivered. We recommend arranging hold-for-pickup options if theft is a concern in your area. For status verification, contact info@twistedchoppers.com.
